Reenactment

So over Christmas/New Year holiday, the husband and I visited Seattle for a few days.  While there, we checked out Sweet Iron, a waffle restaurant downtown.  Husband chose of course a sweet waffle and I of course chose a savory one.  Mine was a Belgium Liege waffle with brie and basil.  Add bacon for $1.00?  Sure!  So my husband, being the waffle expert maker himself, decided to make the same kind at a work breakfast function.  It was a hit!  The sad part is that i didn't get to try any that morning.  Happy part is that he had some leftover ingredients and made them Sunday morning!  He used a multigrain waffle/pancake mix from Sprouts, fresh basil, brie and I helped him make the bacon.  Good job, husband!  Good job.
